We are excited to announce that we are partnering up with the FoodBank of Southeastern Virginia to conduct a food drive. Help us get to our goal of 150 pounds of non-perishable items by 12/16/08! For every five food items you bring in to donate, we will give you $5 in KidBucks to spend on anything in the store, just to say thanks. Our most generous contributor will receive $50 in KidBucks! Kid to Kid makes it easy to sell us your things. We buy three different ways:

• By appointment. We schedule appointments every day from open to one hour prior to closing. Appointments always have priority, and we can accept up to three bins of freshly laundered clothes lying flat with outfits put together. This is an excellent way to become familar with the Kid to Kid system.
• Walk In. If you have some shopping to do, this is an easy way to get it all done in one trip. Bring in up to one bin of freshly laundered clothing lying flat with outfits put together. We will get through it as soon as we can. Walk ins are done on a first come, first served basis, with appointments taking priority.
• Drop Off. Great for vendors who are familiar with how we work. Bring in up to two bins of freshly laundered clothing lying flat with outfits put together. Our buyers will go through your things and call you with your cash or store credit total within 24 hours. Please note that all drop-offs must be pre-approved. In other words, you must pre-approve the purchase price we set for your items. We are not able to un-purchase pre-approved items.

Some ongoing specials in our store include:

• Grandparents Day: Every Tuesday, grandparents receive an additional 10% off apparel items
• Military Appreciation Day: Active Duty, Reserve, and Dependents receive 10% off their total purchase on the 15th of each month
• Book Club: Receive a free book once a month with any purchase, up to a $1.99 value. Ask for a Book Club card.
• Frequent Shopper Program: Spend $10 each visit and receive a stamp. After 10 stamps, you receive $10 in store credit to be used on anything in the store
